Expression of Interest
The Department of Environment has proposed to carry out awareness activities in 13 coastal districts of Tamil Nadu through a “Street plays, campaign, dramas to create awareness among fishermen, students and public on Solid Waste Management at Coastal hamlets. To implement the above scheme, in 13 coastal districts of Tamil Nadu the Director of Environment invites Expression of Interest from the interested reputed and registered Non Governmental organizations/ Institutions to submit their Expression of Interest duly submitting the plan of action to conduct 5 programme per district with the details of proposed programme, venue, tentative date and target group/stakeholders to carry out the above activities. A short note about their organizations, activities carried out by them should also be furnished to the Director of Environment on or before 25/12/2018 along with Expression of Interest. The maximum financial assistance estimated by this Department is Rs.32.50 lakhs, for the entire programme including the expenditure towards the printing and distribution of awareness materials, documentation etc to the public.
The programme should be completed within one month from the receipt of funds.
