World Soil Day 2016

The World Soil Day campaign, held annually on December 5, aims to connect people with soils and raise awareness on their critical importance in our lives. It was first celebrated on 5th December 2012, which corresponded with the Birthday of Thai King Bhumibol Adulyadej, who officially sanctioned the event.
This year’s theme is “Soils and pulses, a symbiosis for life.”
